Danish designer Hans Hornemann took inspiration from his own life in Copenhagen to create the Ace series for Norman Copenhagen. The Ace series is aimed at urban dwellers, who favour quality and aesthetics, but who must also adapt to the limited space of life in the city. With its organic, friendly lines, Ace offers maximum comfort in a compact form. While designing the Ace, Hans Hornemann worked on the basic components of a chair - back, seat and legs - and created a functional, attractive design in a smaller size compared to traditional living room furniture. The design of the Ace chair is a careful balance of elegance and relaxation. The rounded contours underline the welcoming volume of the full padding, elegantly framed by the piping around the seat and back.
