Curated by cc-tapis, the Bliss carpet collection is characterised by a sculptural, three-dimensional effect that was initially inspired by Mae Engelgeer's experiments with round and curved shapes. This work comes after a period when the designer worked solely with straight lines and, ending up feeling enclosed by them, feeling a need to use bolder shapes. Retaining the playfulness of the Memphis movement and mixing patterns and shapes with different production techniques, the Bliss collection was born. The use of Himalayan wool and silk, combined with the approach to shape and colour, creates unique effects of brilliance and depth. Curated by cc-tapis, each carpet is made entirely by hand in Nepal.
