L'idée derrière la collection About A Chair, dessinée par Hee Welling, est de développer une chaise dotée d'une simplicité évidente. Un design sobre et épuré pour cette chaise qui fonctionne aussi bien autour d'une table de salle à manger qu'une table de conférence, dans une cantine ou dans un bureau. L'ambition du designer est de combiner à la fois la forme, la fonction, le détail et l'esthétique. La maison danoise Hay édite cette collection qui présente une large gamme de couleurs et de structures. Ici, la coque en polypropylène repose sur un piètement en bois. Disponible en version chaise ou petit fauteuil, About A Chair assure un confort optimal grâce à sa coque enveloppante à la forme ergonomique. Une chaise qui symbolise parfaitement la pureté, la sobriété et le style intemporel du design scandinave.

HAY

Hay was founded in 2002 to promote Danish design. Rather than sticking closely to the style of the country's former masters of design, Hay reinvents their work in a more contemporary context. The brand revisits the classical forms of Nordic design in a more contemporary context. Hay boasts user-friendly, aesthetic and functional designs. It draws from three main sources of inspiration: art, architecture and fashion. The producer pays particular attention to its environment and is inspired by contemporary culture.
