This original side table was created by the Front design group for Moooi. Made of black and white lacquered wood, its rough lines are reminiscent of building blocks. The chess checkerboard finish can be used to play chess or to simply add a playful, graphic touch to your space.

MOOOI
Marcel Wanders became known within the renowned group of designers, Droog Design. In 2001, he founded the company Moooi, which means "beautiful" in Dutch. The Moooi collection features fanciful and offbeat style, which is sometimes even provocative, and as such produces extraordinary, head-turning pieces. From the Little Bold candlestick to the Chess coffee table, the avant-garde design surprises and the industrial objects fuse reverie with the unusual. Marcel Wanders also collaborates with internationally-renowned designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Studio Job and Ron Gilad.
