Daphine is a desk lamp produced by Lumina and created by Tommaso Cimini in 1973. Now a design and brand classic, it embodies both elegance and functionality and will suit all styles of office. Presented at the Campionaria Fiera in Milan, Daphine dates back to founding of the Lumina brand and, perfectly representing the brand's philosophy of refined lighting, very quickly became its icon. It has been exhibited in some of the world's most prestigious contemporary art and design museums, including the Brooklyn Museum (1984) and the Judd Foundation (1994) in New York, the Musée des arts décoratifs in Paris (1985) and Die Neue Sammlung in Munich (1986). Daphine's little sister, Daphinette comprises an articulated arm with a diffuser at the end that rotates 360°. The transformer is included in the base. SILVERA-eshop also offers the classic and floor lamp versions.

Founded in 1973, Lumina produces authentic, minimalist and must-have desk lamps. Tommaso Cimini created the Daphine lamp, which is now displayed in museums around the world. Lumina collaborated with renowned designers such as Walter Monici and Riccardo Blumer to produce designer lighting combining creativity and craftsmanship. Ettore Cimini took over Lumina in 2008 following his father's death, and gave a new impetus to the Lumina brand, fusing tradition with new industrial processes.
