Originally designed for an architectural project in the English countryside, the Fayland table is characterised by pure use of wood and a clear, sober and efficient design. This aesthetic vision shared between designer David Chipperfield and the E15 brand made the creation of this table possible. Made of solid wood, Fayland features constructive details that form the essence of its elegance: a horizontal bar with a central support provides the necessary stability, while the tabletop protrudes well beyond the frame, thus adding extra space around the table. Available in oak or walnut, the Fayland table can be combined with the Langley stool and the Fawley bench.
Founded in 1995 by architect Philipp Mainzer, German company E15 is characterised by an avant-garde style combined with high-quality materials and artisanal production methods. E15 sells products with a playful lightness made from natural materials.
E15’s products are original and true to the brand’s identity, with its open-minded approach open to different cultures and disciplines. E15 only uses high-quality wood in production, such as oiled oak. The defining shapes of the Bigfoot table and the Backenzahn stool carved E15's reputation for using solid wood in its purest form. E15 works with select workshops in Europe and collaborates with renowned designers such as Stefan Diez.
