Avec la collection ACX, Antonio Citterio crée son dixième fauteuil de bureau pivotant développé par Vitra. Sa construction, ses matériaux, sa production, sa logistique et sa maintenance sont conçus pour assurer un long cycle de vie avec une empreinte carbone aussi faible que possible, tandis que le mécanisme synchrone automatique offre un confort maximal à chaque utilisateur sans qu’il soit nécessaire de procéder à des ajustements. Le fauteuil de bureau ACX est doté d’une esthétique décontractée et accueillante : avec ses lignes épurées et son choix de tissus maille dans une large sélection de coloris, ce siège de bureau compact fait office de pièce design dans le bureau et n’est pas juste un élément nécessaire toléré pour des raisons d’ergonomie.
Le fauteuil de bureau ACX Light se distingue d'ACX Mesh et Soft par son dossier qui comporte un revêtement en résille standard. Doté d'une assise en tissu technique d'espacement Silk Mesh, le siège Vitra est conçu pour offrir un confort agréable et faciliter la circulation de l'air.

Antonio CITTERIO
Born in 1950 in Meda, Italy, he studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. Antonio Citterio began working as a designer and industrial design consultant in 1972. From 1987 to 1996 he created the Citterio/Dwan studio in association with Terry Dwan. From 1990 to 1992, Antonio Citterio was a lecturer at the Domus Academy in Milan, from 1993 to 1995 he was an external examiner for furniture design at Royal College London, and in 1997 he taught at La Sapienza University in Rome. In 1999, together with Patricia Viel, he founded the multidisciplinary design agency "Antonio Citterio and Partners" in Milan, and from 1999 to 2002 he taught at the architecture faculty of the Università della Svizzera Italiana. He has held a chair there again since 2006. Antonio Citterio has received numerous awards, including the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in London. He is one of Italy's most famous designers, with his many and extremely varied creations. It uses the aesthetics of new materials and the performance of new technologies to create its own timeless style. He works mainly with the leading Italian furniture brand B&B Italia, but also with publishers such as Kartell (Battista, Flip and Gastone desks), Vitra (Grand Repos armchair) and Flos (Kelvin Led).

Vitra was founded in 1950 by Willi Fehlbaum. Designer furniture company Vitra is located near Basel, Switzerland. Vitra grew in 1981 and launched a number of subsidiaries around the world. Vitra’s mission is to develop healthy, intelligent and sustainable solutions for communities and housing. Vitra’s technical know-how is combined with the creativity of renowned designers such as Alexander Girard, Charles & Ray Eames who designed some the greatest classics of the 20th century, Verner Panton, and the Bouroullec brothers. Vitra pieces are created by designers from around the world.
