Designed by Christophe Delcourt, the Fil Noir armchair is inspired by thread, a symbol of unequivocal continuity. A thread that actually gives body and substance to the seat: not only does it outline its profile, but it also supports and envelops it.It expresses an important choice in its material: metal tubing painted matte black. This rigorously austere choice is softened by the rings that define the corners of the chair and give the Fil Noir armchair a decorative touch that contrasts with the severity of the design. The search for a solution to elegantly combine form and function led to the creation of a wrap-around backrest and a comfortable seat, both with a metal and polyurethane-foam structure. The inner cushion has a thermoformed plastic and polyurethane foam structure and gives the backrest extra comfort. The meticulous details of Fil Noir's construction bear witness to Minotti's great expertise and strengthen the perception of a product characterised by a high level of craftsmanship.
