Description
Now a lamp with cult status, Lucellino was designed by Ingo Maurer in 1992. This wall light is made of brass, plastic and feathers. It showcases the exposed light bulb, simply adorned with feathers, transforming it into a poetic object. Ingo Maurer plays on words by associating luce, light in Italian, and uccellino, which means little bird. A power transformer is included in the base and a replacement bulb is also provided. Lucellino is also available as a table lamp.

Ingo MAURER
Born in Germany in 1932, Ingo Maurer is regarded as a specialist in contemporary lighting. He studied graphic arts in Munich before spending a few years working in New York and California. He began his career with his firm "Design M", founded in 1963. Ingo Maurer has contributed to a number of lighting installations around the world, from Paris to New York, via Milan and Amsterdam. His creations are characterised by a poetic, enchanting and humorous style. Its luminaires are very striking, and will dress up any space, whatever the model chosen. Their "enchanting" power surprises and attracts us. His work won him the Lucky Strike Designer Award in 2000, after designing the One from the Heart lamp, the Lucellino collection with its winged bulbs, and the Zettel suspension lamp, a work on lightness and floating that makes it an exceptional luminaire.

INGO MAURER
Ingo Maurer was an ambitious German designer who founded his own lighting company in 1963. One of his first creations developed in 1966, Bulb, was an instant succes which saw the lamp featured at the MoMA in New York. Creations by the designer and his team resemble bright works of art that bring a poetic touch to your interior. Each of Ingo Maurer's designs transforms light into art: the Lucellino table lamp with its winged light bulb ensures sweet dreams in bedrooms, while the Zettel pendant light sets the tone in hallways.
