Description
La collection de luminaires Class a été créée par le designer Sebastian Herkner et éditée par la maison de luminaires Vibia.
Class se compose d’un corps en aluminium mat, disponible en deux tailles, et d’un diffuseur enveloppé de verre borosilicaté, qui filtre la lumière en dissimulant sa source.
La sophistication du luminaire Class provient de l’association d’une grande élégance et de la fonctionnalité optimale d’une lampe de sol classique. Il se fond parfaitement aux décors extérieurs, en y apportant une atmosphère particulièrement douce.
La collection Class est disponible en version applique extérieure Class 2820 et Class 2825, ou en version lampe de sol extérieur Class 2800 et Class 2805.

Sebastian HERKNER
Born in Germany in 1981, Sebastian Herkner studied Product Design at the University of Arts and Design in Offenbach, graduating in 2007. He founded his own eponymous studio in 2006, also in the same city, specialising in object and furniture design. Following an internship at Stella McCartney during his studies, he developed a real sensitivity to colours, materials and textures. "There is a sensibility and identity to my work that emphasises function, material and detail." Sebastian Herkner also works on interior architecture projects and museum exhibitions. His many collaborations testify to his talent, including ClassiCon with the famous Bell table, Moroso, Pulpo, Cappellini, Gubi, And Tradition, La Chance, Zanotta and Thonet. His curiosity for different cultures is reflected in his creations. He combines traditional craftsmanship with new technologies to achieve a certain balance. Winner of numerous awards, he has been named "Designer of the Year" by the Maison & Objet show in 2019.
