Description
A task lamp originally designed by George Carwardine in 1932, then developed for private individuals in 1934, the Original 1227 lamp was reissued in January 2009 by English manufacturer Anglepoise for its 75th anniversary. This "brass" version is distinguished by its brass elements, which give it a very elegant look. Its design finds its place in traditional or contemporary, domestic or professional interiors. Flexible and adjustable thanks to its articulated arms, with 3 springs, this Original 1227 lamp has a weighted base for more stability. Now an icon of English design, the Original 1227 desk lamp is featured on Royal Mail stamps.
