The LC7 swivel armchair was created by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her apartment on Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris. In 1928, it was exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes, and then included in the Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret collection. Like the LC4 lounge chair or the Grand Confort chair, the LC7 chair has become a great modern design classic, thanks to its sleek lines and impeccable functional and material qualities. It has now been re-released by Cassina and is available in black or white leather.
