Le point de départ de sa lampe Aaro de DCW éditions était un geste. L’envie de créer un mouvement le plus fluide possible. Ce qui a immédiatement guidé son créateur vers la sphère. Une sphère en guise d’articulation, qui laisse place à d’infinies directions. Une sphère qui n’a ni gauche, ni droite, ni haut, ni bas. En tant qu’élément central de la lampe Aaro Ceiling, cette sphère permet à tout le reste de graviter autour d’elle. La géométrie, l’équilibre, le frottement. Tout repose sur elle. Aaro Ceiling de DCW éditions est un objet qui semble flotter dans l’air, gravitant autour de sa pièce centrale, comme des planètes en orbite.

Founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler, the French company DCW Editions specializes in the design and reissue of lighting and furniture designs.
