In 1966, Warren Platner designed a collection of furniture, which became iconic, characterised by a sculptural silhouette. By transforming simple steel rods, the architect and designer created an elegant collection of chairs and tables with a base made of bundles of steel wire. The result is of remarkable harmony and elegance. While the pieces in the Platner collection have been produced by Knoll without interruption since their creation, the Platner Easy Chair has only been manufactured from 1966 to 1988. Made entirely by hand, the curved Easy Chair offers generous comfort.
