Dessinée par Rodolfo Dordoni pour la marque de mobilier et luminaires Kartell, K-Wait est une collection la collection de sièges rembourrés qui joue sur le contraste entre la simplicité formelle des volumes rigoureux et les lignes douces et arrondies. Tout comme les fauteuils et canapés, le pouf K-Wait est très polyvalent et s’adapte aussi bien à l’habitat qu’aux espaces collectifs. Les revêtements textiles, élégants et chaleureux, ajoutent une touche supplémentaire de confort à l’ensemble.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.

KARTELL
In 1949, Giulio Castelli founded the Italian company Kartell, which specialises in the manufacture of plastic goods. In 1963, he married architect Anna Castelli Ferrieri, who also became his collaborator. The Kartell collection is extensive, attractive and easy to use. Colour, play on meaning, transparency and unique shapes create unrivalled objects. Kartell soon became the symbol of "Made in Italy" design and offers a product catalogue composed of furniture, decorative accessories and lighting. They represent the icon of contemporary design. Kartell enjoyed global success thanks to its involvement in research and innovation, by using efficient production systems and increasingly modern technologies.
