Description
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, Prince uses the latest technology and the most innovative materials in forms that are reminiscent of the classic design tradition of the 1950s. A particularly complex projection process that made it possible to create the die-cast aluminium support base, a shape with variations in lines and thickness that produce an industrial design element that is almost sculptural. Prince's base is available in a variety of finishes reflecting different stylistic interpretations. In addition to brushed aluminium with a glossy finish, there are versions painted in semi-glossy black and high-gloss sand or pewter, which soften the austerity of the aluminium and make Prince an extremely versatile armchair. It will thus find its place in any room, in perfect harmony with all the sofas in the Minotti collection.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
