Description

La lampe de table Shogun est une création de l'architecte designer Mario Botta pour Artemide. Sa forme puissante lui confère une présence forte, même éteinte. Mario Botta disait lui-même : « Shogun est une personne. Elle a une tête, un corps, des pieds et un nombril ». La structure est en métal verni noir et blanc et la lampe possède deux diffuseurs orientables en tôle d'acier perforé verni. Son émission lumineuse est diffuse et la superposition et l'orientation des diffuseurs permettent de créer des jeux d'ombres et de lumière. Elle fait désormais partie de la collection du Metropolitan Museum de NYC. Shogun est idéale sur un bureau, ou dans une chambre sur la table de chevet par exemple, avec ses lignes rayées qui donnent tout son caractère à cette lampe.

In 1959, Ernesto Gismondi combined Engineering and Design and founded Artemide.
