Silaï is a collection of rugs and poufs, created by Charlotte Lancelot for Gandia Blasco. Inspired by the Hindi word meaning "small stitch", the designer of the Silaï collection has reinterpreted this embroidery stitch by using several kinds of stitches in soft tones associated in patchwork, creating a beautiful harmony of textures and colours. Modern and romantic, the collection creates an emotional bond with the object, through touch and the memories it brings out. The Silaï collection is a marriage between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. The rugs and poufs can be combined to create a warm and personal space in the bedroom or living room.
Gan is a family business based in Valencia and founded in 1941 by José Gandia Blasco (the father of the current director of the company, José Antonio). Gan initially specialised in the manufacture of blankets. Today, the company has two different product lines: Gan rugs and Gan bedding. However, Gan also conquered the furniture market and sells its products under the brand Gandia Blasco, with 15 collections in the sector. The brand's flagship products are its iconic rugs made from refined textiles, such as the Sail Gan Spaces rug. Gan presents the perfect balance between folklore and innovative shapes and patterns.
