Description

Originally designed for a luxury hotel group, the Slat bench, produced by BassamFellows, is made of solid wood. It combines simplicity and elegance of craftsmanship. Its sculptural look is enhanced by its wooden slats that form continuous lines with a very interesting graphic effect. The legs are attached to the seat almost invisibly, creating a bench with simple, elegant lines. In the living room or in a hallway, Slat bench reveals its woodwork and fits easily into both public and domestic spaces.

Craig Bassam, architect and designer and Scott Fellows, artistic and strategic director, founded BassamFellows together in 2003 with the desire to restore "truth" to beauty and art. The duo favours the use of raw, natural materials, and has adopted an extremely eco-conscious approach. For example, everything that is not used in the manufacture of coffee tables is reused to make accessories.
