Description
Sloane is a fine and elegant dining table made of solid oak. Typical of the wooden tables produced by E15, the square legs intersect with the tabletop, incorporating the top into the frame using a special system. In spite of the untreated material used, designer Philipp Mainzer wanted this table to exude lightness and elegance so that it could fit into any interior style. It can be dismantled into five parts and is available in various sizes. The thinness of Sloane's tabletop will create a stunning effect for meals with family or friends.

Philipp MAINZER
Born in Germany, Philipp Mainzer studied design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and architecture at the Architectural Association in London.In 1995, Philipp Mainzer created the modern furniture brand E15 with Farah Ebrahimi. With a progressive, sustainable philosophy and a unique brand image for E15, he has received international awards for many of his creations, which are now part of several permanent museum exhibitions.Alongside the creation of E15, Philipp Mainzer practised architecture in New York and has continued to do so since returning to Germany in 2001. Philipp Mainzer works internationally on commercial, residential and cultural projects offering full architectural, interior and exhibition design as well as furniture design services for the public and private sectors.Committed to a coherent and progressive conceptual approach, the work draws on the dynamic interplay of diverse cultures and disciplines. With a focus on high quality and authenticity, the diverse team of architects and designers develops original concepts with refined aesthetics and the required functionality. The partnership with the modern furniture brand e15 creates synergies that push back the boundaries of traditional architecture.

E15
Founded in 1995 by architect Philipp Mainzer, German company E15 is characterised by an avant-garde style combined with high-quality materials and artisanal production methods. E15 sells products with a playful lightness made from natural materials. E15’s products are original and true to the brand’s identity, with its open-minded approach open to different cultures and disciplines. E15 only uses high-quality wood in production, such as oiled oak. The defining shapes of the Bigfoot table and the Backenzahn stool carved E15's reputation for using solid wood in its purest form. E15 works with select workshops in Europe and collaborates with renowned designers such as Stefan Diez.
