Description

Conçue pour accueillir huit personnes, la table rectangulaire Cabin Vipp est dotée d'un lourd plateau en calcaire provenant de Bourgogne, en France. Le plateau en pierre de la table rectangulaire Cabin de Vipp est soutenu par deux pieds parallèles en chêne massif foncé sculpté de nervures verticales. Le marbre et le calcaire portent les marques millénaires de transformation naturelle. Les fossiles et autres matières organiques ont laissé leurs traces dans ces pierres, les ponctuant d’une large palette de teintes et de veinages, ce qui leur confère toute leur spécificité. Le dessus de la table Cabin de Vipp en pierre massive a un toucher soyeux et doux, fourni par la technique de la brosse douce qui protège la structure naturelle de la pierre.

VIPP

The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
