Les formes irrégulières et les textures radicales révèlent l’espièglerie et les couleurs provocantes de la collection qui s’est inspirée des peintures de Francis Bacon. Chaque tapis de la collection Rude représente des œuvres d’art et un personnage principal avec un titre intriguant comme « Blue Tit », « Tongue and cheek » ou encore « Poking fun ». L’idée de cette collection est de redéfinir l’objectivité d’un tapis. Il est possible d’exposer les tapis sur le mur comme une œuvre d’art. Dessinée par Faye Toogood, la collection Rude de cc-tapis propose plusieurs tapis aussi uniques les uns que les autres permettant à chacun de trouver son bonheur.

CC-TAPIS

CC-Tapis is an Italian company that manufactures hand-woven contemporary rugs created in Nepal by Tibetan master craftsmen. In 2011, CC-Tapis moved to Milan, where the company is now based. Its artistic director and partner, Daniele Lora, leads a team of designers there that innovate through a new approach to traditional methods. Weighty respect for the materials and culture of the ancestral profession is reflected in CC-Tapis’s environmentally-friendly approach at every stage of production, from spinning the softest Himalayan wool to using purified rainwater. Patricia Urquiola designed the "Visioni" collection for CC-Tapis: a 2-piece series featuring geometric shapes and soft colours.
