Very disappointed at the lack of contemporary design andirons and confronted with small city fireplaces, Jean-Michel Wilmotte designed Window andirons intended for use in apartments. The pure and geometrical lines associated with the designer can be seen in this piece. The Window andiron is the perfect gift idea for all lovers of contemporary art. Throughout his series with When Objects Work, Jean Michel Wilmotte designed decorative objects for interiors that exude refined design and always include a functional aspect.

WHEN OBJECTS WORK

When Objects Work is a Belgian company founded by Béatrice Delafontaine who produces items developed by the best designers and architects, and who share the same philosophy as the brand: simple and timeless shapes adapted to the object's primary use. Collaborators must follow the brand's guidelines to create everyday objects that are "useful and beautiful". The majority of products in the collection are made by hand or using artisanal methods. When Objects Work produces everyday objects that are then given a fresh look thanks to exemplary finishes, materials, and high-quality production.
