L’histoire de la collection Hanging Lamps éditée par Valerie Objects commence lorsque les designers Muller Van Severen créent un luminaire de plafond sans devoir le brancher à une prise. Les premiers prototypes ont été présentés lors de la toute première exposition personnelle de Muller Van Severen en 2011. Les dessins qui accompagnaient cette exposition donnaient l'impression que quelqu'un prenait un jeu de crayons et commençait à dessiner dans les airs. Les luminaires Hanging Lamps sont conçus pour être perçus de la même manière, comme des dessins apparemment naïfs matérialisés dans la vie réelle. Comme tous les meubles de Muller Van Severen, les lampes suspendues ajoutent une ligne sobre mais colorée à l'intérieur, au bout de laquelle est suspendue une ampoule, sous un abat-jour parfaitement neutre. La collection d’appliques Hanging Lamps se décline dans cinq modèles différents afin de s’adapter au mieux à votre décoration.
