La chaise 108 a été dessinée par Finn Juhl en 1946. En surface, elle ressemble à une chaise ordinaire. Mais après un examen plus poussé, des détails surprenant, comme les barres latérales inclinées, sont révélés. Ces détails apportent un mouvement inattendu et une dynamique à l’ensemble.  A ce jour, les créations de Finn Juhl sont toujours étonnantes et défient les attentes avec des détails subtils. La philosophie de Finn Juhl consistant à séparer les éléments portés et porteurs, créant ainsi de l'espace, est très visible dans la chaise 108. Bien qu’elle soit rembourrée et très confortable, la chaise 108 parvient à garder sa légèreté et sa beauté sous tous les angles.  Fabriquée en chêne ou noyer avec un revêtement en cuir ou en tissu, la chaise 108 s’intègre magnifiquement dans toutes les salles à manger, apportant une touche sophistiquée.

The Finn Juhl collection consists of over 40 classic masterpieces, all crafted with the utmost respect for the original heritage and with strict quality standards. The goal of House of Finn Juhl is to reintroduce the iconic Finn Juhl furniture in a modern context while staying true to the designer's original drawings. Even today, the production of Finn Juhl furniture is located in the town of Ringkøbing, on the west coast of Denmark. Upholstered furniture, such as the Pelican chair, is hand-stitched in the same tradition as originally intended.
