Aside from his quest for high-quality fabrics, Michaël Verheyden spends some of his time looking for new manufacturing methods. His collection of Coupes produced by When Objects Work is a good example of how he combines innovation, craftsmanship and understated quality design. These elegant pieces will find their place both in the dining room as a table centrepiece and in the office as a desk tidy.
When Objects Work is a Belgian company founded by Béatrice Delafontaine who produces items developed by the best designers and architects, and who share the same philosophy as the brand: simple and timeless shapes adapted to the object's primary use. Collaborators must follow the brand's guidelines to create everyday objects that are "useful and beautiful". The majority of products in the collection are made by hand or using artisanal methods. When Objects Work produces everyday objects that are then given a fresh look thanks to exemplary finishes, materials, and high-quality production.
