A l'occasion d'un concours organisé avec la revue "Domus" pour l'anniversaire du célèbre livre de recette "Cucchiaio d'argento », la célèbre marque italienne Alessi a demandé à cinq designers internationaux de revisiter un accessoire de cuisine du quotidien : une cuillère de service pour risotto. Après délibération du jury, c'est la Cuillère à Risotto de la jeune et talentueuse créatrice Inga Sempé qui remporte le prix. "J'ai voulu une cuillère qui soit subtile et ronde, simple et gaie comme devrait l'être le plaisir de manger un risotto". La cuillère à Risotto est fabriquée en acier inoxydable et mesure 26cm pour être une solution simple mais au design recherché et minutieux à la fois dans la précision des détails et l'exigence fonctionnelle qu'on attend d'un tel accessoire de cuisine. Il ne vous reste plus qu'à cuisiner un bon risotto et épater vos convives en les servant avec cette cuillère tout simplement parfaite ! Une idée de cadeau idéale pour tous les amateurs de cuisine italienne !

Inga SEMPE
Born in Paris, Inga Sempé graduated from Ensci (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle) in 1993. In 2000, she became a resident at the Villa Medicis (Académie de France) in Rome. Inga Sempé started out as a freelance designer, working in the early years with Italian brands such as Cappellini and Edra, before moving on to projects with French, American and Scandinavian companies such as Luce Plan, Moustache (with its famous Vapeur luminaires) and Baccarat. She designs furniture and small everyday objects, and seems to have a particular interest in lighting, with the PO 0202 floor lamp in particular. An exhibition devoted to him was held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 2003.

ALESSI
In 1921, Giovanni Alessi founded the Italian company Alessi. Since 1929, the company has focussed on producing nickel- or silver-plated copper tableware. When Carlo Alessi, Giovanni's son, was appointed design director in 1935, handcrafting methods were replaced by industrial manufacturing. In 1955, the company began collaborating with world-renowned architects and designers such as Richard Sapper, Ettore Sottsass, and later, Philippe Starck and Marcel Wanders. Alessi makes design accessible by focussing on useful, humorous and visually appealing home accessories. Most of its products have become design classics that are sold and exhibited around the world.
