Powell – or the quintessence of the contemporary sofa, according to Minotti – is welcoming, sophisticated and at the same time informal.This seating system includes fixed and section seats, designed to satisfy a natural desire for relaxation. Every detail of Powell – from its subtle balance of proportions to its haute-couture design – is typical of the style that defines Minotti's identity. The aluminium base is a remarkable detail, especially as it is painted in a selection of exclusive colours – Sand, Celadon, Plum, Granite or Pewter – which open up possibilities for original colour associations with the chosen upholstery fabric. The sofa appears slightly raised from the ground, almost suspended.Powell's relaxed elegance is expressed in the simplicity of its lines and enhanced by its meticulous craftsmanship. The goose-down padding used in both the single seat cushion and the back cushions results in an extremely comfortable sofa that adapt itself to any type of interior.

In 1959, Ernesto Gismondi combined Engineering and Design and founded Artemide. His motto "The Human Light" represents humans and their well-being, and he centres his attention on both these things when designing lighting solutions. The Artemide brand rapidly became the leader in lighting design and manufacturing. As soon as it was set up, Artemide manufacturing was involved in international groups such as "Memphis" by Ettore Sotsass, a pioneer in the manufacture of contemporary lighting. Artemide entered into further collaborations and the successes mounted up. The brand represents the expertise and quality of Italian design, resulting in timeless creations that leave deep impressions and stand the test of time.
