Dessinés par le célèbre designer Marcel Wanders, les plateaux ronds Dressed édités par Alessi sont des éléments de décoration disponibles en acier brillant ou en acier coloré à la résine. Le service de table Dressed en porcelaine est inspiré de la ligne conceptuelle du « Baroque Hollandais », dont la décoration est obtenue à partir d'une technique de laminage en relief qui « donne aux objets une tridimensionnalité intéressante » selon Alberto Alessi, d'où le nom de la collection « Dressed » qui se réfère à une robe sublimant le contenu avec ses motifs raffinés. Déclinés en noir, blanc, ou inox, ces plateaux ne manqueront pas de sublimer votre table de repas.

Marcel WANDERS
Born in the Netherlands in 1963, Marcel Wanders obtained his art degree from the Arnhem School of Art in 1988. He worked for two years in one of the leading Dutch design studios, and in 1992 became one of the four partners of WAAC's Design&Consultancies, rapidly becoming one of the most recognised studios in the Netherlands. Marcel Wanders founded Moooi in 2001 with Casper Vissers, whose designs are renowned for their originality and fun. The company has grown and collaborated with well-known designers such as Maarten Baas, Ross Lovegrove and Studio Job. The brand's creations can be found in many museums around the world, including MoMA in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Marcel Wanders creates furniture and decorative objects for some of the world's leading brands, including B&B Italia, Cappellini, Poliform, Magis (Cyborg armchair) and Baccarat, with its exceptional decanters and candleholders. Marcel Wanders is also called upon for architectural and interior design projects such as the Mondrian South Beach Hotel in Miami, and his collaboration with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Among his many awards, he received the prestigious Design Excellence Award for his significant contribution to the field of design in 2009.

ALESSI
In 1921, Giovanni Alessi founded the Italian company Alessi. Since 1929, the company has focussed on producing nickel- or silver-plated copper tableware. When Carlo Alessi, Giovanni's son, was appointed design director in 1935, handcrafting methods were replaced by industrial manufacturing. In 1955, the company began collaborating with world-renowned architects and designers such as Richard Sapper, Ettore Sottsass, and later, Philippe Starck and Marcel Wanders. Alessi makes design accessible by focussing on useful, humorous and visually appealing home accessories. Most of its products have become design classics that are sold and exhibited around the world.
