A meeting of Scandinavian values and Italian tradition, Fynn takes the form of a design that blends expert carpentry with particularly exquisite fabric and leather upholstery.
The armrest is Fynns signature element: elongated, slightly curved, rounded and smooth to the touch, it is entirely handmade and its precise, well-defined lines grace every seat in the collection. In its association with the collection's high-end fabrics and saddle leather, Fynn expresses the intrinsic excellence of Minottis well-researched, custom work.
The Fynn armchair and small armchairs have an ultra-light appearance and an essential structure made of liquorice-coloured ash, home to the upholstered cushion of the seat and back, designed as a single element. The informal rigour with which Fynn hosts the upholstered elements gives rise to a comfortable seat that appears to rock the person who sits in its welcoming wooden structure. In the Saddle-Hide version of the Fynn, the seat and back are made of a single piece of saddle leather. The armchair and small lounge armchair have upholstered scatter cushions. The Fynn dining room model is available with a fully upholstered hull or, as an alternative, in a Saddle-Hide version with or without a seat cushion.

The GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. GamFratesi is part of the latest generation of furniture designers, and together they represent a new interpretation of Danish and international design. GamFratesi's designs draw their creative impetus from the fusion of tradition and renewal, as well as from an experimental approach to materials and techniques. With their respective cultures, they draw their inspiration from Danish furniture and Scandinavian craft traditions, but also from Italy's timeless conceptual and intellectual approach. Thanks to this multi-cultural partnership, GamFratesi creates furniture pieces that reflect tradition while presenting unique stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist style. The GamFratesi duo works with some of the biggest names in design, including Gubi, with the Bat collection and the now famous Beetle chair, Hay, with the Silhouette sofa, and also Minotti, Dedon and Fontana Arte.
