Description
Vanity est un miroir mural conçu par le duo GamFratesi pour Gubi, et dont l’origine fait écho au miroir de coiffeuse du XVIIIe siècle, qui lui donne son nom. La collection Vanity comprend trois modèles, avec respectivement un, deux et trois panneaux de miroir. Les caractéristiques déterminantes du design de Vanity sont son placage en noyer chaleureux et ses charnières en laiton. Ceux-ci permettent d'ajuster l'angle du miroir, influençant la perspective qu'il offre et les jeux de lumière dans la pièce. Sur le miroir Vanity Gubi à panneau unique, les charnières permettent une rotation de 15°, tandis que les charnières de 180° de Vanity 2 et Vanity 3 permettent aux panneaux de se replier à plat les uns sur les autres, recouvrant le miroir lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.

GAMFRATESI
The GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. GamFratesi is part of the latest generation of furniture designers, and together they represent a new interpretation of Danish and international design. GamFratesi's designs draw their creative impetus from the fusion of tradition and renewal, as well as from an experimental approach to materials and techniques. With their respective cultures, they draw their inspiration from Danish furniture and Scandinavian craft traditions, but also from Italy's timeless conceptual and intellectual approach. Thanks to this multi-cultural partnership, GamFratesi creates furniture pieces that reflect tradition while presenting unique stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist style. The GamFratesi duo works with some of the biggest names in design, including Gubi, with the Bat collection and the now famous Beetle chair, Hay, with the Silhouette sofa, and also Minotti, Dedon and Fontana Arte.

GUBI
Danish brand Gubi reissues some of the greatest design classics created since 1967. Situated on Copenhagen docks, Gubi’s head office spans over 2000m2 in a former tobacco factory renovated into a large, modern exhibition loft space. Gubi is a designer renowned for creating, developing and marketing a bold and sleek collection of furniture, lighting and interior objects around the world.
