Description

Ilio is a floor lamp created by Ernesto Gismondi, designer and founder of Artemide. With its simple geometry, stripped of all superfluous detail to get to its essential shape, Ilio attracts attention with its vibrant colours. It consists of a 100% aluminium cylinder with a 39W LED bulb placed at the top, which produces a diffuse and indirect light. With its 2700 lumens and 80% efficiency, the Ilio floor lamp provides general lighting for a living room for visual comfort and a pleasant, warm atmosphere.

ARTEMIDE

In 1959, Ernesto Gismondi combined Engineering and Design and founded Artemide. His motto "The Human Light" represents humans and their well-being, and he centres his attention on both these things when designing lighting solutions. The Artemide brand rapidly became the leader in lighting design and manufacturing. As soon as it was set up, Artemide manufacturing was involved in international groups such as "Memphis" by Ettore Sotsass, a pioneer in the manufacture of contemporary lighting. Artemide entered into further collaborations and the successes mounted up. The brand represents the expertise and quality of Italian design, resulting in timeless creations that leave deep impressions and stand the test of time. The Nessino Artemide lamp, designed by Giancarlo Mattioli, is also one of these iconic creations by Artemide, combining innovative design and a 70s retro style.
