Description

With its curved small lunar disk shape, IO is a dual-emission LED wall lamp. IO appears almost suspended, very close to the wall but never close enough to touch it; positioned at a distance that allows the light to gently caress the wall with a skimming effect. Elegant and minimalist, it is equipped with a mount with a dual rotating axis. Allowing the diffuser to be rotated by 360°, directing it exactly to where light is needed. In addition to rotating, the diffuser also moves from top to bottom, opening and closing the light beams to suit individual needs. Designed to provide as personal and adjustable a light source as possible, the IO lamp makes an ideal bedside lamp. However, its versatility also makes it an excellent solution for the lighting of office walls and corridors, both in residential areas and in workspaces. The diffuser is made from cast aluminium and is very robust despite its small size. IO from Fontana Arte is available in a matte finish in several colours with a white interior surface, to reflect as much light as possible.

FONTANA ARTE

Luigi Fontana was founded in Milan in 1881 and specialised in the production of glass panels for the construction industry. In 1931, the FontanaArte brand was born and achieved instant success, with the 0024 pendant light by Gio Ponti, who was artistic director of FontanaArte at the time. The Bilia table lamp followed with its timeless design thanks to the perfect balance of its dimensions and the understated elegance of the non-reflective materials used. FontanaArte installed a new oven - the only one in Italy - designed to produce glass panels of all curvatures, in order to inject new momentum into the production of prestigious furnishings.
