The MaMo Nouchies is a gentle and poetic collection featuring highly sophisticated technology. Created by Ingo Maurer in collaboration with Dagmar Mombach, the name of the collection refers to designer Isamu Noguchi and his paper lamps. Paper is crafted as if it were a textile, undergoing several steps, to create MaMo Nouchies lights. Each lamp is therefore unique. The Kokoro table lamp is a large, light-emitting sculpture that moves as if it were a dancer thanks to the almost magical shape of its diffuser. The light accentuates the folds and the subtle and harmonious forms. The heart-shaped mirror acts as a reflector. Poetic and sensual, the Kokoro lamp creates a soft and colourful atmosphere in your living room or bedroom.
Ingo Maurer was an ambitious German designer who founded his own lighting company in 1963. One of his first creations developed in 1966, Bulb, was an instant succes which saw the lamp featured at the MoMA in New York. Creations by the designer and his team resemble bright works of art that bring a poetic touch to your interior. Each of Ingo Maurer's designs transforms light into art: the Lucellino table lamp with its winged light bulb ensures sweet dreams in bedrooms, while the Zettel pendant light sets the tone in hallways.
