Description
Le lampadaire Captain Flint outdoor conçu par Michael Anastassiades pour la marque Flos, est constitué d’une base en marbre disponible dans plusieurs finitions et d’une structure en acier inoxydable brossé, peint ou en laiton brossé.
Sculptural et élégant, le lampadaire est doté d'un abat-jour conique orientable dans 8 positions différentes, permettant d'orienter l'éclairage selon les besoins. Son diffuseur est en polycarbonate opale moulé par injection et photogravé anti UV. Grâce à sa base en marbre, le lampadaire Captain Flint Outdoor est particulièrement stable et robuste.
Le lampadaire a été adapté en fonction des agents atmosphériques, les parties structurelles de l'appareil sont traitées par procédé de conversion chimique permettant d'obtenir une bonne résistance.
Le lampadaire d'extérieur Captain Flint outdoor est parfait pour éclairer vos espaces ouverts dans un dialogue harmonieux avec les paysages naturels et l'architecture extérieure.

Michael ANASTASSIADES
Born in Cyprus, Michael Anastassiades trained in civil engineering at the Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine in London. He went on to study industrial design at the Royal College of Art. He founded his studio in 1994 and launched his eponymous brand in 2007. Above all, it seeks to understand our relationship with objects, space and time. To do this, he explores proportions and materiality and attempts to reduce objects to their purest essence. "I'm looking for authenticity. At the end of the day, that's what makes an object desirable," he says. The designer explores many issues relating to time and space, and his creations are imbued with enigmatic poetry. Functionality is also omnipresent. Michael Anastassiades is renowned for his lighting collections and for the quality of the materials he uses, such as glass and bronze. He works with major designers such as Herman Miller, B&B Italia, Cassina and Flos. His work is also an integral part of the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He won the Designer of the Year 2020 award at Maison & Objet in Paris for his minimalist creations.
