Description

Romb is the result of experiments by Broberg and Ridderstråle with a corrugated cardboard that they then used extensively when modelling and developing architectural projects. The shape, a lozenge, quickly emerged and split into two shapes; one larger than the other, which projected an interesting direct light upwards but also indirectly downwards, onto the base of the shape. The piece works well on narrow spaces such as shelves or window sills, and has a strong sculptural presence. Edited by Pholc, the Romb table lamp is made from bespoke pressed steel with seamless edges and great attention to detail.
