Description
At the 2002 Salon du Meuble, Israeli designer Ron Arad presented his collection of Victoria and Albert upholstered chairs, named after the famous eponymous museum in London. This set of chairs combines innovative design and comfort. Building on the collection's success, Moroso has expanded it with the Little Albert armchair, made of solution-dyed polyethylene. This chair will find its place in domestic and public spaces and is even suitable for outdoor use, as the plastic used is resistant to temperature variations and sunlight (and is fully recyclable). Little Albert is available in several colours to suit your environment.

Ron ARAD
Born in 1951 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Ron Arad studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Jerusalem and then at the Architectural Association in London. In 1981, he founded his own studio "One Off Ltd." in London with Caroline Thorman, and began producing his unconventional furniture by hand, most of it in welded sheet steel, with a strong sculptural character. In 1989, together with Alison Brooks, a Canadian architect, he founded the firm Ron Arad Associates Ltd. In 1994, he founded the Ron Arad Studio in Como and was visiting professor of product design at the Technical University of Vienna until 1997. Since then, he has taught industrial design and furniture design at the Royal College of Art in London. Ron Arad's work is part of the permanent collection of many museums, from the MoMa in New York to the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Ron Arad works with leading brands such as Vitra, Magis, Kartell and Alessi, and his best-known creations include the Victoria & Albert collection for Moroso and the DO-LO-REZ rugs for Nanimarquina, with their astonishing optical effect.

Founded in 1952, Italian design company Moroso creates sofas, armchairs and other furnishings designed by the best designers on the planet, such as Patricia Urquiola, Ron Arad and Doshi & Levien. Moroso's products are of an exemplary quality coupled with a sense of humour. Exuberant, rich in humanity, baroque, colourful and full of vitality all at once, Moroso's collection emphasises the way in which design draws its inspiration from art and therefore becomes its expression in everyday life.
