Bertrand Balas, architecte de Toulouse né en 1935, aime contempler les couchers de soleil sur la Garonne. Comme il aime à le dire avec une certaine musicalité : « Cela me fait du bien. » En août 1970, il crée le luminaire Here Comes the Sun. Inspirée par le soleil couchant, cette suspension en aluminium peut être disposée seule ou en grappe, et se décline en plusieurs formats et coloris. Editée par DCW éditions, la suspension originale Here Come the sun 250 ressemble à première vue à toutes les lampes dites, elles aussi, originales. Mais lorsqu'elle est allumée, la suspension Here Comes the Sun devient magique. Avec Here Comes the Sun, la nuit devient douce et rassurante.
