Description
Conçue par Sebastian Herkner, la collection Kontur de Vibia est reconnaissable à son cadre délicat en métal noir. Kontur se présente comme une élégante mise en scène d’un luminaire linéaire, dont la structure intègre des sources LEDs et se combine avec différents diffuseurs et réflecteurs pour créer une ambiance lumineuse.
Le cadre abrite soit un diffuseur en verre opalin soufflé, soit un réflecteur arrondi en métal, dont les volumes purs produisent un fascinant équilibre dans l’architecture géométrique graphique. Avec son diffuseur en verre cylindrique, Kontur émet une lueur chaude à 360 degrés. Combiné avec la feuille en métal incurvée du réflecteur, il recrée l’illusion de la lumière pluvieuse.
Kontur est disponible dans une large gamme de températures de couleur, afin de recréer le plus fidèlement possible une esthétique chaleureuse d’éclairage à la bougie ou des effets diurnes plus éclatants.
Le luminaire Kontur est disponible en cinq formats d’appliques murales, et de suspensions.

Sebastian HERKNER
Born in Germany in 1981, Sebastian Herkner studied Product Design at the University of Arts and Design in Offenbach, graduating in 2007. He founded his own eponymous studio in 2006, also in the same city, specialising in object and furniture design. Following an internship at Stella McCartney during his studies, he developed a real sensitivity to colours, materials and textures. "There is a sensibility and identity to my work that emphasises function, material and detail." Sebastian Herkner also works on interior architecture projects and museum exhibitions. His many collaborations testify to his talent, including ClassiCon with the famous Bell table, Moroso, Pulpo, Cappellini, Gubi, And Tradition, La Chance, Zanotta and Thonet. His curiosity for different cultures is reflected in his creations. He combines traditional craftsmanship with new technologies to achieve a certain balance. Winner of numerous awards, he has been named "Designer of the Year" by the Maison & Objet show in 2019.
