Avec la collection About A Chair le designer Hee Welling a voulu développer une chaise dotée d'une simplicité évidente. Un design sobre et épuré pour une chaise qui fonctionne aussi bien autour d'une table de salle à manger qu'une table de conférence, dans une cantine ou dans un bureau. L'ambition du designer est de combiner la forme, la fonction, le détail et l'esthétique. La maison danoise Hay édite cette collection qui présente une large gamme de couleurs et de structures. En 2011, Hee Welling complète cette collection avec des tabourets et des fauteuils qui suivent la même philosophie. About A Stool est ici proposé avec un piétement bois pour s'intégrer parfaitement à tous les environnements. Tout comme la chaise, il assure un confort optimal et symbolise parfaitement la pureté, la sobriété et le style intemporel du design scandinave.
