Transloetje and Edison the Petit, were both inspired by our grandmother's nostalgic table lamp. Fatboy's Transloetje combines a strong heritage with a very pure design, stripped of all ornaments. The result is a very basic version of a lamp but with a charming attitude.In fact, its simplicity makes it even more attractive. Thanks to the material, shape and shimmering colours, Transloetje by Fatboy really stands out from other lamps. Thanks to its transparency, the old-fashioned bulb inside is the centre of attention. However, the bulb is actually an energy-saving LED lamp. With no wires and USB rechargeable, Transloetje is super mobile and perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. The touch switch on the foot allows the light to be switched on and adjusted to three different intensities.The name Transloetje is a combination of two things: “trans” for the transparent version of the Edison the Petit lamp, and “loetje” is the Dutch phonetic translation of “luce” (light in Italian).

FATBOY

The Fatboy brand was created in 1998 by Finnish designer Jukka Setälä and Dutch designer Alex Bergmana.  In 1998, Finnish designer Jukka Setälä and designer Alex Bergman listened to "Edgy" by the band Fatboy Slim. Shortly after, Jukka Setälä imagined and designed THE modern-day bean bag. Huge, soft with an oversized label and fun. The Fatboy bean bag became the infamous "Original Fatboy" and gained worldwide popularity. The "playful" designer brand became a design icon thanks to its hero product, the Fatboy bean bag. Rolled out in about twenty colours, it became an absolute must-have, and marked the beginning of the Fatboy adventure.
