Taken from Minotti's archives, the Albert & Ile collection, which includes seating and a coffee table with vintage profiles, is a tribute to Alberto, Minotti's founder, who died in 1991, and to Ileana, his wife, currently Honorary President of the company. The various elements of the collection have in common the thin, retro-style of their legs, but they differ in their general shapes. Albert's armrests follow the classic 1900 line, reinterpreted by the aesthetics of the 1950s. A decorative frontal element extends along the full length and gives shape to the armrest. Made of solid wood, it is first upholstered and then fixed with nails to the main structure.A mohair wool velour upholstery with glittering reflections and vibrant colours particularly enhances the Albert chairs. Reissued for the company's 70th anniversary, Albert & Ile reflects Minotti's DNA, which, thanks to its founder, continues to transmit the importance of manual skills and fine tailoring.
