Description
Dessiné en 1972 par Mario Bellini, le projet Le Mura représente le manifeste d’un design radical qui a traversé les années 70 italiennes. Le design du canapé Le Mura était la réponse à des questions non seulement esthétiques et ergonomiques, mais aussi sociales. Le résultat est un projet à la force inépuisable, toujours d’actualité après cinquante ans. Le thème de la modularité est central, thème déjà exprimé par le nom choisi pour ce système de canapé : tout comme les grosses pierres qui composaient les imposantes murailles romaines, les éléments d’assise s’assemblent pour créer des compositions infinies. De cette façon, le canapé Le Mura se prête aussi bien à des petits espaces qu’à des grandes pièces, sans jamais perdre son style. Tacchini réédite aujourd’hui ce classique, en respectant le design original et en mettant en évidence sa vocation au confort.
