Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the Chamfer sofa celebrates 20 years of collaboration between Moroso and the Spanish designer. Chamfer refers to the carpentry term for a bevelled edge. This architectural detail is the inspiration behind the shape of the sofa and characterises the whole collection. Although literally the word refers to a gentle angle created by a 45° cut in a right angle, its expression here is a double broadening of perspective, both aesthetically and functionally. On the outside, the chamfer softens the shape of the backrest and gives it a sculptural appearance. Inside, the angle creates a comfortable and inviting space, suitable for both domestic and public use. Versatile, refined and flexible, the Moroso sofa invites you into its large and elegant embrace. The Chamfer sofa has fully removable covers.NB: the cushions shown in the photo are not included in the price.
