The Dock collection by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia is defined as the safe haven of the home. This multi-piece, ultra-flexible system offers countless combinations, with the collection's 84 elements. The solid base is the platform around which Dock takes shape. The strength of materials affirms the horizontal vocation of this eclectic system. The platform becomes a dynamic element, as it extends for the sofa's entire length to form a base. The slender armrest offers two depths, and the backs are generously filled. The cushions also play with dimensions and proportions, making it possible to create double-sided, corner and chaise longue compositions with or without a backrest, suitable for use in the centre of the room or a more traditional setting. But Dock also grows vertically and has accessories to create a varied landscape. Additional elements can be used, such as comfortable padded armrests between the seat cushions, or slender service elements on the base.  The comfort of soft padding, like a welcoming port is enhanced by the choice of depths and heights. Dock comes with a seat height of 41 cm, but there is also a version 27 cm, that sits almost at ground level for seating that evokes the Far East.
