With its soft and enveloping shapes, Baxter's Tactile sofa aims to highlight the tactile properties of leather, while paying particular attention to details. Designed by Vincenzo de Cotiis, the Tactile sofa is deconstructed and broken down into two elementary parts. The seat and back become independent elements and different padding highlights the distinction between the two elements. The two parts are only fixed to one another at essential points for stability so they appear to be hardly in contact with each other, making the sofa feel light and airy despite its generous size. Cushions are not included in the price of the sofa.
