Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Foscarini, the Birdie lighting collection revisits the traditional lampshade to give each lamp a distinct personality according to the colour chosen. In white, the table or floor lamp is understated, almost invisible, while the red, orange and grey versions add an extra touch of character to your interior. The intensity dimmer is in the form of a branch, like the stem of a plant with a twig ready to welcome a young bird. Simply touch the branch gently to adjust the light intensity as you wish. Birdie provides warm and harmonious light thanks to the diffuser that lights up the lower area as well as reflecting light upwards. Made of polycarbonate and stainless steel, Birdie is a durable and extremely lightweight lamp. The charm of this lampshade complete with small branch adds a poetic note to a work surface, or when placed on the floor in your living room.

FOSCARINI
Foscarini was founded in 1981 in Venice. Foscarini has been producing lighting and exploring the possibilities and qualities of Murano glass since 1981, most of its design have gone on to become classics. For Foscarini, each project requires a new supplier in order to best meet the customer's requirements. Freedom of production advocated by Foscarini inspired two of the company's designers, Carlo Urbinatti and Alessancro Vecchiato, to use other materials. This strategy results in a wealth of inspirations, raw materials and technological innovations.
Foscarini's concepts, shapes and materials illuminate and transform the offerings and initiatives of international designers
