Cette célèbre bouilloire 9093 avec l'oisillon qui siffle quand l'eau bout, est un grand succès depuis sa création en 1985. Elle représente pour la marque Alessi le point de rencontre entre le grand design et les méthodes de production à grande échelle que recherchait son designer américain Michael Graves. Son travail reprend les codes visuels caractéristiques de l'artiste, qui allient les influences de l'Art Déco et du Pop Art, jusqu'au langage des dessins animés. Cette bouilloire est ainsi apparue dans de nombreux films (Crocodile Dundee, Ghost, Per una notte d'amore...). Cet accessoire de cuisine design, qui convient également aux plaques à induction, est réalisé en acier inoxydable 18/10 avec une poignée et un sifflet oisillon en polyamide qui confère à l'objet cet aspect authentique et en fait une très belle pièce de décoration à offrir ou à s'offrir.

ALESSI

In 1921, Giovanni Alessi founded the Italian company Alessi. Since 1929, the company has focussed on producing nickel- or silver-plated copper tableware. When Carlo Alessi, Giovanni's son, was appointed design director in 1935, handcrafting methods were replaced by industrial manufacturing. In 1955, the company began collaborating with world-renowned architects and designers such as Richard Sapper, Ettore Sottsass, and later, Philippe Starck and Marcel Wanders. Alessi makes design accessible by focussing on useful, humorous and visually appealing home accessories. Most of its products have become design classics that are sold and exhibited around the world.
