The design duo Hvidt & Mølgaard imagined Drop Leaf in 1956 with the goal of creating a versatile piece that would fit its environment. As its name suggests, this beautiful table by & Tradition was built with a hinged section on each side that falls from the fixed centre. Unlike other such tables, the Drop Leaf can be folded by one person. Its folding design ensures that it can fit into any interior, a functional aspect that balances with the main focus on shape. Drop Leaf is available in walnut or solid oak. The base and top of the Drop Leaf table are made of solid milled wood. The hinges and fittings are made of brass.
