Dessiné par Hvidt & Mølgaard, Tripod est un lampadaire minimaliste, réalisé en métal laqué avec des détails en laiton. Considérés comme des maîtres du design danois des années 50, leurs créations apportent souvent une touche sculpturale à l’espace où elles se trouvent. Le lampadaire Tripod ne fait pas exception. Nommé d’après la composition de sa base si particulière, le luminaire est doté de lignes simples et précises qui caractérisent parfaitement l’esthétique des designers. Le pied comporte une sphère lourde qui fait office de contrepoids et permet l’équilibre globale de la lampe. Les premiers croquis du lampadaire Tripod date de 1953, pourtant la lampe n’avait jamais trouvé le chemin de la production. Ainsi, And Tradition édite pour la première ce luminaire unique et intemporel.
